CHEF DE PARTIE, COTTAGE KITCHEN, NORTH ADELAIDE, S.A.

Base hourly rate of $29.64. 
Overtime and penalty rates will also apply where applicable.

The wonderful Cottage Kitchen restaurant in North Adelaide, is a unique and contemporary dining experience that combines Mediterranean flavours with locally sourced produce, are looking for a Chef De Partie to start ASAP.

Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in ensuring their guests have an exceptional dining experience by helping drive food turnover, maintaining smooth stock controls, and upholding the highest food quality standards.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

· Commercial Cookery Certificate III & IV

· Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, cooking in a commercial kitchen, with a strong attention to detail.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes, along with a broad knowledge of contemporary food cuisines (Mediterranean preferred but not essential).

· Ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimum supervision.

· Qualifications in Food Safety.

· Current First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential).
