The extremely popular Tanunda hotel is looking for an experienced Head chef to start ASAP.
The Tanunda Hotel located right in the heart of Tanunda with its charming old style appearance
and friendly country atmosphere, it’s popular stop when visiting the Barossa Valley.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus ensuring a high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times according to agreed standards
Create and develop menu concepts
Analyze and understand consumer purchasing habits to develop menu strategies for continued growth
Oversee the appropriate receiving and storage of food
Profit and Loss monitoring and accountability
Prepare and distribute kitchen department rosters
Maintaining HACCP procedures and practices
Foster sound relationships with front of house staff and kitchen staff
Maintain kitchen equipment and plant in good condition
Manage all aspects of OH&S compliance
Implement and oversee the training of kitchen staff
