The very popular Rising Sun Hotel in Auburn ,in the Clare valley is looking for a Sous chef to start ASAP.

The role would encompass all facets of a Sous Chef ,supporting the Head Chef, 2 apprentices and Kitchen hands
Candidate would need to be able to work unsupervised and be competent on all of the Kitchen sections. ,
You must be able to work as a team and able to step up to meet the demands when the hotel is in high demand for meals .

Short term accommodation to start if needed.

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all food orders and menu items are completed accurately, consistently and in an efficient manner

Undertaking of all kitchen duties, from cleaning dishes to preparing creative culinary delights

Have a collaborative approach between front of house and the kitchen brigade

Maintain precise stock control and rotation

A passionate and creative approach to preparing high quality food

Someone with a high level of verbal communication

A commitment to deliver on and exceed customer expectations

The ability to operate and maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines

The possession of a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
