The resort is all about relaxation and comfort, situated on the Tony Cashmore designed championship McCracken Golf Course.

They are looking for a qualified experienced chef for the following duties and responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for all aspects of the kitchen and kitchen team
• Involved in all aspects of kitchen operation
• Be capable of completing all daily operations of the kitchen and ensure tasks are completed.
• Oversee all kitchen employees, including: training and performance development, responsibilities,
discipline and commendations, OH&S, ordering, storage
• Liaison with Front of House (FOH) on daily basis to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of daily services
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Ensures all menu items are available through the entire trading day
• Assists to ensure maximum productivity and profitability in the kitchen
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Manage kitchen stocks
• Take direction from Head Chef.
• Set up and preparation of workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served in line with the company values
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness is maintained to the highest standards.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortage
