Magill Estate’s award-winning Kitchen is one of Australia’s finest food and wine experiences and they are looking for an experienced Sous Chef who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join them on their journey.

As a Sous chef your responsibilities would include:

Working with Head Chef to manage kitchen work load
Food preparation
Manage staffing levels
Stock control and wastage
Ensure continuity of service across to ensure ‘best practice’ expectations are meet and visitors experience is in line with brand standards
HACCP and safety requirements
Run day to day operations of the kitchen

Candidate must demonstrate a passion for local produce and ideally a strong wine knowledge.
You will also have strong planning and communication skills, and have exceptional time management
Relevant trade qualification in cooking and hospitality required.
