The Bridge Hotel is a family owned and operated business. Situated in the heart of the Langhorne Creek wine district, just 20 minutes from Mount Baker and 15 from Strathalbyn, the hotel services the local community and the a larger number of people visiting the area.
The Bridge operates a busy kitchen serving an al a carte menu 7 days a week.The Bridge Hotel pride themselves on offering a consistent food service that encourages repeat business from their valued clients.
The position is for approximately 40 hours per week .
Successful applicants must have:
A passion for delivering good quality food in a timely manner
Previously worked in a busy al a carte kitchen
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (this isn’t a huge one however they need a good level of experience)
A strong work ethic
Flexibility to support the Head Chef over a 7 day roster
The ability to work under pressure
The ability to manage your own work load
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A strong understanding of food hygiene requirements
Reliable, clean and exceedingly organised
High standards of work
